Vonundzu in Bad Ems

In the meantime we have been to the Vonundzu in Bad Ems several times and are thrilled every time. In 2019 I was also able to experience a dream wedding there as a service provider (I'm a wedding and event DJ) and the praise must finally come out: D - Clearly: in terms of location, space, friendliness, culinary delights as well as professionalism and Warmth definitely counts Vonundzu in the region as one of the locations in the "Superlative category". Starting with the style, the decoration, the service or the arrangement on the plate - what you do there is simply perfect. As a DJ at the wedding or here and there as a guest in the lunch shop, I was always thrilled to see how magic is done here in the kitchen. Big compliment 😍. In addition, the Vonundzu is more than suitable for parties. A large dance area directly at the bar ensures plenty of space for extensive partying (and e.g. also for the photo box). All thumbs up from me for a really perfect overall package and deserved 6 out of 5 stars 😊. Kind regards, Chris (DJ TJANO)

We were again able to experience a special evening with fantastic food in the wonderful ambience of the Kursaal in Bad Ems. Thanks a lot for this ! We would love to come back ...

Today we went to Vonundzu to eat and we were really impressed! Although we managed to get hold of the last table (unfortunately we had not reserved) and the restaurant was full, we were served very attentively! Three service staff are literally "flicked". The food, the quality and the picture on the plate - they cook with sense and understanding! Chapeau !! There are far too few such restaurants! The Corona rules were also observed very carefully, we felt very safe! Conclusion: Delicious, relaxed, lovable is lived here! Keep it up!

The VONUNDZU is just great. An incredibly beautiful and superbly decorated restaurant. Wonderful staff and the food is just fantastic! One thing is certain for me, here I will become a regular customer 😍

Everything was great - we felt comfortable

Almost every Sunday we and our children go to Bad Ems! After a short walk through the adjacent spa gardens, we look forward to the delicious food and the first-class ambience at VonundZu. We usually opt for the great 3-course Sunday menu (price-performance ratio more than excellent) with a fine glass of wine and a piece of crumble cake from the tray as the crowning glory. We love it! We would of course also like to mention the lovable and courteous service! ;-) We always feel right at home and are already looking forward to tomorrow!

We were guests at VONUNDZU last weekend and felt incredibly comfortable! 😊 We have to especially praise the very competent and friendly staff and the excellent food! We were also surprised how well the Corona “requirements” are implemented here! Top! 👍🏽 We would love to come back!

We went to an Advent brunch last year and it was great! This year we were there in the evening and everything was great again! Ambience and food are convincing. Gladly again.

After today's visit, we have unfortunately remained very dissatisfied. Today the starter and main course were ordered for 2 people, plus 2 glasses of sparkling wine, a bottle of water and a wine from the region. The glass of wine was returned immediately because the wine was too sour. But still calculated accordingly. Although a new bottle was ordered instead of a glass of wine. What was unfriendly and unprofessional was not expected from this class of restaurants.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the predominantly positive reviews. We had to wait several minutes at the entrance until the young lady from the service responded to our request and assigned us to our reserved table. The ambience is very tasteful and appealing. The menu with a few but well-sounding dishes was presented on a large handwritten board. The starters (13.50 for a tuna tartare with avocado cubes and 8.50 for a pea foam soup with 3 small prawns) were a bit boring, the prawns were dry and so was the bread that was served with it. The main courses were not timed. We hadn't finished the starter when the main course left the kitchen. The service staff noticed that we were still eating and carried the main course back into the kitchen. Approx. 20 minutes later we finally got our warm meal, which was not exactly good for my monkfish saltimboca. Unfortunately, it was dry and the Parma ham lying on it was rubbery. The waitress didn't care that something was left on my plate. For a mere 100 euros, including a bottle of water and two glasses of wine, I have to say that the price-performance ratio is poor. What a shame

We had a wonderful day at VONUNDZU. The three course meal and the wines were delicious. Above all, the ambience and the opportunity to sit outside were excellent. We would like to come again :)

Nice restaurant, customer requests were implemented perfectly for me. Tasted very fine - nice service. Would love to come back.

We were very impressed with our 3-course menu. First class craftsmanship! The service was also very competent and was able to advise us very well on the wonderful wines. We will definitely go back to Bad Ems in the future.

Great Gourmet burger I ate, really understood the concept of a gourmet burger, nothing then good there, 1 star less for the price, it was a little salty.

Super nice service, quality food lovingly and creatively prepared. Very pleasant ambience, generous amount of space and stylish furnishings. Quiet music in the background and the best: on demand there was a full vegan dish on request every night, even if that was not on the menu! Thanks to the team, we'll be back!
